While I have worked with Serecon, I never had the opportunity to personally engage Don on behalf of clients. I did however, appear in many regulatory hearings in which he provided opinions for those opposed to my clients. I attempted to cross-examine him several times. I say attempted because it was like trying to cross-examine your kindly grandfather or a Jimmy Stewart character. His opinions were always exceedingly well founded and it didn't hurt that he was the quintessential nice guy. He garnered a huge amount of respect from those of us who practice in the property rights fields and I for one will miss his wisdom and friendship.
