Alberta Expropriation Association - 32nd Annual Fall Conference

Location:  Banff Park Lodge - Banff, AB
Date: October 17 to October 19, 2019.

We are pleased to announce that the Alberta Expropriation Association will hold its Annual Conference in Banff on October 17 to October 19, 2019. The Annual Conference is a great opportunity to obtain up-to-date information and to stay connected with those practicing in the field of acquisition and expropriation of land for public purposes.

Once again, the conference will be held at the Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel and Conference Centre (222 Lynx Street, Banff, Alberta)
. 

We hope you will join us October 17-19 in Banff.

The conference will begin with a Thursday evening wine and cheese reception.  Friday evening will include a cocktail reception and sit-down dinner, followed by a casino and games event with prizes.  In place of a silent auction, if you'd like to make a donation to the Prentice Memorial Fund, please use the online donation link.  Learn more about The Jim Prentice Memorial Scholarship fund.

Please note we will not be providing binders with the printed presentations.  Presentations will be posted on the website as they become available.  An email will be sent to registrants when presentations become available.


Registration:

  • AEA Member Early Bird $425 (available until September 26, 2019)
  • AEA Member Registration $475 (September 27, 2019 through October 11, 2019)
  • Non-Members $525 (available through October 11, 2019)

Register for the conference

Your registration fee includes three morning and afternoon coffee and tea nutrition breaks, two breakfast buffets, a lunch and the dinner banquet.

A Friday evening companion dinner banquet can be added for $66 at the time of registration.

Please indicate if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions during your online registration process.

Even if paying by cheque, you can still complete registration online.  Please include a copy of the invoice when mailing in your cheque.

Cancellation cut-off (refund end date) for conference registrations is October 10, 2019. For cancellations made after October 10, 2019, no refund will be issued.
